We had these installed last year during spring break and have still been waiting for the training.

    Does anyone have this?
How does it compare to a Smartboard?
    Do you like it?
    Is it easy to use?

I'm a little anxious because they took away my regular projector this summer and I now have the Brightlink hooked up however we still haven't been trained on using it. I hope it is easy to use and ready to go by the first day with kids!

Is it being used with a smartboard or by itself? By the look of it, it's just a projector. You just turn it on. It projects on to a smartboard. Do you just have it with a projection screen? That seems like a waste for what looks like an expensive projector.

No, it's not used with a Smartboard. It has a program you download to the computer that allows you to use it interactively but I'm with you. I know it was a cheaper buy at the time but I wish they would have put that money towards smartboards.

It's not like Smartboard where you download the program and have games etc on it .... Oh well I'll take what I get. Better than nothing I guess
