I have all of the symptoms. It started on Sunday when I dropped my vacuum while vacuuming. It was as if I lost all strength in my hand, and it went numb for a split second. As the days went on, it became worse and worse. It feels so weak and pain has been shooting up my arm and through my fingers.

Today, it's been the worse. I had tears in my eyes while driving because it hurt so bad. I finally looked it up today and figured out that I seem to match the description of carpal tunnel syndrome.

If you've had it, how long did it last?

What things did you do to help reduce the pain? To help it to heal?

Did you wear one of those wrist splints? All day? Did it help?

    Thanks

I have had carpal tunnel, which required surgery to cure.

I never really had bad pain, just ongoing numbness and dull pain with carpal tunnel.

I have also had tendonitis which hurt, HURT, and needed ice, pain pills and time to heal.

A person at my OT had carpal tunnel.

They had Occupational Therapy for about 6 sessions before it was better.

Go to an OT if it's hurting
