Anybody own or ever own any of these cars?

I will add and subtract from this list as my search continues.

Here is what I've been looking at so far. If it's crossed out, I was looking at it, but have ruled it out. Cars with an asterisk mean I'm considering a used one.

Toyota Matrix
*BMW X3 (Older - <2008)
Mazda3
Mazda5 (Especially 2012)
Subaru Forrester

 

My husband had a Forreter for 14 years and LOVED it!! The only reason he didn't get another is because we need a 3rd row of seats.

 

My aunt has a BMW X3 and loves it. (I believe it's 4 or 5 years old.)

 

My dad has a RAV4 and he really likes it!

 

Dh has a Mazda 5 and has had no problems with it...plenty of room...

 

I won't buy a Toyota anymore. I am just not convinced that wayward carpeting is the source of runaway cars.

 

I own a Suburu Forester and I love it. Handles great in the snow for me, and I get good gas mileage. Comfortable ride too.

 

My friends have a Mazda 3 and they love it!!!! They stole the idea from me because that is the next car I want!

 

I have a mazda 3 and I love it. Ive had it for 6 1/2 years and its been a great car! I even had the original battery up until a year ago, and I live where it gets super hot and they usually don't last for longer then 2 years.

 

I just drove the Mazda5 and the Forester. The Mazda5 drives like a sports sedan, it made the Forester feel big and lumbering.

 

I*love*my*RAV*4!**It*is*a*2005*so*it*is*shorter*(*I*think*11*inches)*than*the*models*made*since*2006.**It*has*been*a*very*reliable*vehicle.

 

A Nissan Rogue is similar & the price is comparable to your list. Just out of curiosity, why don't you like it? I have a Rogue & it's great! I've test driven a Toyota Rav4. It felt kind of cheap to me (drove kind of rough).
