    Hi,
    At my school, we called up a local news meteorologist and asked him to present what he does. You can probably ask him/her to tailor it according to what you want the kids to get out of it.
    The students loved having a local "celebrity" at the school, and they learned a lot more about weather than they ever thought about before...
    Not sure about more hands-on activities, as I only taught physical science (weather) for one year.
