We are having a door decorating contest at our school this month. The theme is anti-bullying, and it is supposed to be seasonal. Does anyone have any ideas for cute displays that could incorporate student art/work? I teach first grade. Thank you in advance!

For Fall, you could make a tree with branches out of brown paper (maybe even suggest to the kids that they could bring in used brown paper lunch/grocery bags to incorporate a recycling lesson) and then trace their hands on brown, red yellow, orange, and green construction paper (let them choose the color). Have them write their names and/or decorate their hands. After cutting the hands out, place them on the tree branches like leaves. And then add an anti-bullying phrase on their like: "TREES LOVE ALL THEIR LEAVES EQUALLY REGARDLESS OF SIZE, SHAPE, OR COLOR" Good Luck!
