If you are able to make it to your classes, I would probably go for the Montclair program. Also, they may offer some classes on-line that you could take. It seems like a really good program and you would end up with two certifications and the process of getting your certification will be much easier when the university is in the state you want to teach in. Plus, the major seems to be more of what you want. Good luck with your decision!

I would go with Montclair - it is what you really want to do program wise and it is in your state.

Montclair University has an excellent reputation for its teacher ed program in NJ...If you are planning on staying and teaching in NJ, I'd go there...It will be more highly regarded in our competitive NJ market.

All things being equal, I would with the traditional program rather than the on-line program. You will get so much out of the face-to-face interaction with your fellow students that you cannot get out of an on-line program.
