Hi guys! I know I don't visit here as often as some, but I have truely enjoyed and appreciated your advice. I am back in an elementary school this year and I'm teaching Spanish again (yay!). However, I have another announcement...I got engaged last week and I am now planning a December wedding. I have about 4 months to kick this off so I am going to be a busy girl! Anyway, wanted to share with you :) I'm super excited, I've been waiting so long!!

I just saw where your were...burrr....It will be beautiful, especially if there's snow. I had a friend get married just before Xmas...the church looked so beautiful with all the decorations!!! Yay a money saver!!! I think they added a few poinsettias on the pews or something, but not too much!!!

Yeah, the sanctuary has Christmas trees with white lights up and pointsetas (sp?) in the atrium. We will probably just add some silver ribbons with a few flowers and maybe some white lights around the ceiling and it will be perfect! I am hoping for a light snow the night before so there is some fresh snow and not gray slush. That way we could do some pics outside :)

Any ideas what kind of flowers you can get in December? Not much grows fresh here that time of year :)

Congratulations! I got married on Christmas Eve last year. We, of course, used poinsettias and a lot of evergreen for decorations. However, my bouquet was star gazer lillies, very pretty and complemented the different shades of red that we used. If you need any ideas, let me know. I'd be happy to share what we did.
