    Hello,

I'm doing an animal unit in science and was wondering if you have any ideas or resources I could use. I found some of the suggestions in the teacher's guide to be kind of boring and I'm looking for other activities to add to this unit. Thanks for your suggestions!

Do you have a class animal or one you can "borrow" temporarily from another classroom? If so, make some prediction/conclusion questions and feed the animal (nothing harmful of course) and let the kids explore. Discuss its habitat or even have students from that other class (if applicable) come in and teach what they know about their animal.
