I am filling out applications for new districts and I have to complete a narrative statement addressing a current issue in education today and analyze it in terms of how I would address this issue in my classroom, school or department...help! Where do I start?

How about inclusion of special education students in regular education classrooms?

    Motivation

You could talk about motivation in regards to students (making lessons applicable etc, teachers (keeping fresh in your job and your competencies), community (how to get the community motivated to help your school to become even more successful by making learning go beyond the classroom).

N77, I was thinking along those lines, too... my main issue is the lack of parental involvement.
