    Hey everyone,

Let me preface this by saying I know I am crazy to even think I will get more than one job offer, but I am just planning ahead.

I have 5 interviews in the next 2 weeks. The last 2 interviews are for the jobs I would prefer. If I am offerred 1 of the first 3 jobs, should I take it? Should I ask them to wait? I just don't want to ask them to wait, offend them, and then not get one of the last 2 jobs, and end up with nothing.

    Thoughts?

    K

If you are offered a contract, you have until a specified date to turn it back into the office before it becomes "void."

If you think you have a shot at the last two schools and you in fact do get an offer from the first three, thank them, take the contract, and hold on to it until after your last interviews.

With that being said, try not to short-change your students if you wind up in a school you have to "settle" for.

Make whatever school decides to hire you your favorite school.

P.S. I know me (and some others on this forum) believe that once you tell a school that you will work for them, it's a done deal.

Just be sure to align your decisions with your morals.

Good luck on all of your interviews! How did you manage the snag so many?

    Thank you!

It was a TON of work but totally worth it. I basically applied to every single school within 45 minutes of my house.
