Hello Spec Ed from Texas! This is my first year in an elementary behavior unit. I started with one instructional aide but now I have none, isn't this just slightly bending the rules? Is my principal trying to pull a "fast one"?

Could you describe what kind of class you have? Age, disabilities, academic levels, level of violence, etc.

Depends on what the student's IEP say.

That is insane. I have a very similar class, I have three aides. If one kid runs out the door, and the other is flipping over tables, what are you supposed to do? Do you have a union you can talk to?
