    I GOT A JOB! :haha:

So I went on three interviews, got call backs from ALL three... got offers from ALL three... and had to make a choice... FAST! I picked a school thats moving to a new location because it will be a fresh start for everyone and all the teachers/principal were all really nice and supportive! =)

now, i am stressing out about all this paperwork that I have to fill out. I am certified, I have a BA and I also have a MA (just graduated but degree is not offered until october) and I am wondering if I will be getting paid for having an MA or if I have to get all this paperwork, etc in order to get up on that pay scale, etc. Anyone have this issue before and how did it go?

I am sending my good vibes to all of you that are still looking. My advice for you is to be confident, express your passion, and be yourself!! Good Luck!

Whew! I wasn't sure if that topic header was jubilation or agony! How wonderful, that the decision was totally in your hands.

Congrats!!!! Talk to your hr person about your masters...I had to get board approved for the switch in pay. I had my college send an official transcript that showed my degree was conferred, and I was approved at the next meeting. I also got a paycheck with retropay that covered the time I received my degree (May 16) to the end of the year. It was only a couple hundred dollars, but it was a nice surprise! :)

--in our district, we have until (I think) October to submit credits to raise our pay for the 1st semester. Then there is another date (February?) for 2nd semester. If you do submit in October and it shows you had the credits prior to the start of school, they give you back pay.

    congratulations!
Was it difficult making up your mind? How did it all work with the timing? Did you have all the offers really definite at the same time, or did you have to ask for time to decide on one while you waited for the next? ( I go from thinking I will never get an offer to wondering what I would do if my next interview results in a job offer when I would rather have an offer from the interview after that).
