I work in an alternative high school. Recently, we've had a large intake of girls, and the issue of gossip and rumors running rampant has become extreme. Does anyone know of any movies that address the dangers of gossip? I know there was a LifeTime one, but I don't remember what it's called. Any lesson plans? Any help would be appreciated... My classroom seems to have become a battleground! Thanks everyone!

"Mean girls" most certainly is about the danger of gossip. The girls talk about others and end of making a burn book for the kids they are making fun of and the school principals get involved. It would be a wonderful movie to show on that subject. Plus it is a type movie they would watch. You might have to fastfoward like 2 places for like a 1min.
