Remember all of us who are
wise and older were once young and foolish.

So if you can listen you just might learn something.
Even the wise and older can listen too.

    Good Holiday wishes to all

Remember who the young and foolish are. We may teach the old and wise a bit more about being more open minded and not so traditional and set in their ways.

Bring on the advice! I make no promises to follow but I'm open to listen! :)

Dave addressed this in his last line (in orange).

    Closed-mindedness isn't defined by age.

Foolish...speak for yourself! ;) I wasn't once foolish (meaning did dumb things or had to make mistakes to learn a lesson)...only had a lack of life's expereiences due to not living on this earth as long. If that's foolish too, so be it! Merry Christams! :)

Not all who are young are foolish; not all who are foolish are young.
Not all who are old are wise; not all who are wise are old.

I took Dave's post more as a call to listen to and learn from each other. :2cents:

Boy oh boy at the things I should have listened to! Hindsight! Nice reminder Dave...especially with the new year approaching.

I guess I need to unveil my meaning
Lately we have had some hurt feelings
Some are from being thin skinned
    AND
    Some are from unkind posts

I am not the most eloquent nor am I the most tactful but/so I notice the trend
We had a thread closed on part of the tenor of how the posts went.
I am not asking we be lovey dovey but we have had a few posts that were if not personal were close to it.
I have typed out many posts that were doozies but after rereading them I did not post them.

All I am saying is think before you post, would you want to read a post that would upset you?
And before you get upset over a post, reread it and think if it really is aimed at you.

    :2cents: rant over
