75.5 pounds down!

    But.... I am still not ready to celebrate. I have been to this weight before. I am hanging on until... I hit the 82 pounds down mark.:D i have made it there twice, and each day stayed there for ... 1 day both times! After that?! I don't know. I want to see what my "natural" weight is so I am stressing on a certain number. The good news is .. I am no longer obsessing.

    Now... I am learning to use that time up in other ways, and trying not to let it be on the computer! LOL

    congratulations! I just hit the down 84 lbs mark....I want to lose about 50 more by christmas....Good luck on your progress! :thumb:

    definitely not easy....probably one of the hardest things I have ever done....and I "fail" a lot....I have learned that you just can't beat yourself up....keep going and resist the cookie the next day. :)

    Wow! I'm just starting again--had my physical yesterday and got a good talking-to from my doc. I'm aiming for 20 pounds, and if I can get there, I'll go for more.

    Congrats to you!!!
    I'm hoping this winter to start doing a little more working out because I put more emphasis on it since we are "in" more!!! I say that, but I think walking up & down sledding hill & shoveling that "winter stuff" is a pretty good workout in itself.

    I have lost 1 more lb....so I am at the minus 85 lb mark. It feels so good. I still have a loooong way to go, but your encouraging words definitely help. Thanks everyone! :D

    Thanks to you all. I can tell you, more then the scale's validation, I feel wonderful! :D That to me is worth more then some silly number on the scale!

    That is how I tackled it. I took it 10 pounds at a time. Much easier then focusing on 80 pounds which was my original goal.

    Outstanding. I am just doing my new diet. Drink only water, nothing after 7pm and eat more fruit. One of my BF has lost 89 since Feb.
    He said a psychic told his wife he was gonna die soon. He looks a 100% better and is WAY more active. Keep up the great
    lifestyle and you will be much happier for it.

    I'm working on it 10 pounds at a time. If I lose 10 pounds I'll fit back in the clothes from last year. Then if I lose 10 more I'll fit back in the clothes from the year before. My eventual goal is somewhere between a size 12 and 14. I feel like that is a reasonable and healthy size for me to be. We'll see. I just started on Monday, so I'm sure I haven't lost much yet, but I already feel better!

    Congratulations! I'm down 70 since January, so I know the dedication it takes! That's a wonderful accomplishment!

    saw my doc today...I do not mind sharing with you guys...I am now at 278.2 lbs. I started at 363. She would like for me to lose 50 mosr by the end of the year. So that is my goal. Thanks for the encouragement! It really does help! :D

    You are all doing great!!! I'm down 47 since January, about 62 since November. I want to lose about 50 more, but will be happy when I can wear a size 12. I'm at a 16 now, and some of them are getting a little big on me, but not enough to go down a size yet. Slow and steady...I have gotten so used to going to the gym that I miss it when I can't go, that's a good thing, right?
