I have to make my own student planners for this next school year. The building as a whole does not use them, nor do the other teachers at my grade level. I used them during my student teaching and really feel that they help. I viewed the MOOSE book links that I found in the archives, does anyone have any ideas or examples for students more on my grade level? I prepared a basic sheet to use everyday with assignment areas, behavior areas, and notes. I also have a weekly "How Did I Do?" sheet. Any other suggestions?
moose planners I also love the idea of the Moose planners. If you search, there is a webpage that has a list for other acronyms other than Moose. I cant remember where I saw it though. But it could fit into whatever theme you use in your classroom, if you use a theme. Here are some other ideas for your planners. ~ spelling or vocabulary lists. ~ a blank calendar for them to complete and add tests or special events to. ~ A clear pocket with a zipper for pens, markers, pencils, erasers ~ papers to return to school signed ~ papers to go home for parents to read I will post more if I think of them.
Thanks. Do you sent papers home every night? I was just going to do this once a week, except for items that needed to be corrected and signed.
organization I send home all of the kids papers on Fridays, to be signed and returned on Mondays.
