    I need some help! I need 4 vocabulary words related to the visualizing/mental images reading strategy with definitions. I have been thinking and thinking but my brain is fried.

    Just have to comment on a lesson I did on visualising.

    Organised a poem, explained to students they needed to 'see pictures in their heads' while I read.

    Read poem , then got students to draw what they had visualised while I reread poem.

    (Poem was about a dog - basically a description of the dog)

    Went up to little Johhny and said "what is this a picture of?"

    "Thats me playing Xbox, and thats my little sister watching," he replied.

    "You were supposed to draw what you were picturing in your head while I read the poem," I said

    His reply?

    "That IS what i was picturing"

    You just had to laugh.
