And I'm bored out of my mind!! I see 3 classes three more times, and my other 3 classes I see two more times. I've covered all the curriculum, there isn't time to do any other projects, and I will not give busy work, so movies it is. Which leaves me with nothing to do - lesson plans are done for next year, all notes are converted to PowerPoint, inventory and check out procedures are ready to go, purchase orders are ready for July 1, the room will take about 15 minutes to be ready for check out, and computer files are organized. There is simply nothing left for me to do but patiently wait for summer!! Just wanting to waste a few minutes! :)

Wow, I'm so jealous! We just finished our 2nd (and final!) day of after-school meetings, and I have a huge list of things I want to do next year, plus I'm slowly working to clean my room...

(The last two weeks of May were not good for me.)

    Enjoy your summer!

You know in the Wizard of Oz, when the munchkins sing "Ding dong the Witch is Dead"????

That's pretty much how I feel about this year.

I'm counting the minutes until it's history.

I've had amazing kids, and I would be fine if I taught every single one of them again.

But I want this year over!!

One more teaching day, then 6 days of exams, and it's over!!

I also, would do anything to have this year's 8th graders again - what a joy they've been! But all good things must come to an end.

Jealous. Very jealous!! I was JUST contemplating starting a post on ways to get all of the end-of-year grading and other necessities done in the next few weeks. ::sigh::
