I tried to post a great website for you..but it wouldn't let me post the website. There is a great website that has wonderful ideas from another second grade teacher. I found her online last summer when I was changing from 4th grade to 2nd. If you search Mrs. Madden's Second Grade Classroom you may find it online. I know it helped me organize some ideas for my own class last summer.
I have taught second grade for two years now and love it. WHat areas or topics would you like to discuss since there is soooo much we can all cover? BTW how was the move from NJ to GA?
