    Read aloud Chapter books

Here is what I have read to them so far this year:
Because of Winn Dixie--they absolutely loved it!
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory--loved it!!
Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing--they loved this one too.
How to Eat Fried Worms-currently reading and they are liking it, too!

I have several kids who can read these on their own and I try to read a different author's book so they can get be exposed to different authors. I set other books by the same author on top of my reading corner shelves so they can see other books by the same author and choose some of them to read on their own.

    Hope this helps!
