Instead of making New Year's resolutions, I prefer setting SMART goals. Yes, I've probably been in too many pedagogy classes, but I've found if they're reasonable, my odds of following through are better. Here are a few of mine: I will complete a half marathon by the end of spring (completion is more important that my final time because I have never done this distance before). I will complete my principal certification coursework and pass the state exam by the end of the year. I will cook dinner at least two days a week. Anyone else want to share theirs?
