Any sightings of our boy? I want to see him in his beret

I can't hold my eyes open anymore, so I will be watching the remainder in the morning.

Oh- and why have we been tortured with Seacrest butting in every few minutes?!

I saw he tweeted a picture of him on some sweet plane so I think he went home early? He tweeted it like 16 hours ago so I don't think he stayed for the closing ceremonies.

Yeah, Lochte didn't stay for the closing.

Annie Lennox rocked the house, but how on Earth did the Pet Shop Boys manage such a lackluster performance? They are always the best at huge, multimedia spectacles.

I watched the closing with BF, which gave me free reign to sing along at the top of my lungs :p. Of course he made fun of me the whole time, though. ("Hey, Mike." "Yeah?" "Your gay is showing." "Shut up and dance or we're over.")

My mom was obsessed with the Spice Girls when I was little, so I grew up with them. Last night I realized how much I missed them!

You know that I love you, all of my American friends. However, I was not happy to be in the U.S. during the closing ceremony--having to wait until 8:30 pm to watch when it aired live here at home.

The Winter Olympics aren't nearly as exciting as the Summer, but they do help pass the time until the next Summer Olympics.

Did you guys see this poem for the Olympians by Maya Angelou? It was written for the 2008 Olympics, but she put it on her Facebook page again today.

    Amazement Awaits
    By Maya Angelou

    Sheer amazement awaits

    Amazement luxuriant in promise
    Abundant in wonder
Our beautiful children arrive at this Universal stadium
They have bathed in the waters of the world
And carry the soft silt of the Amazon, the Nile,
The Danube, the Rhine, the Yangtze and the Mississippi
In the palms of their right hands.
A wild tiger nestles in each armpit
And a meadowlark perches on each shoulder.
We, the world audience, stand, arms akimbo,
Longing for the passion of the animal
And the melody of the lark
The tigers passion attend the opening bells,
The birds sing of the amazement which awaits.
The miracle of joy that comes out of the gathering of our best, bringing their best,
Displaying the splendor of their bodies and the radiance of their agile minds to the cosmos.
Encouragement to those other youth caught in the maws of poverty,
Crippled by the terror of ignorance.
They say Brothers and Sisters, Yes, try. Then try harder.
Lunge forward, press eagerly for release.
The amazement which awaits is for you.
We are here at the portal of the world we had wished for
At the lintel of the world we most need.
We are here roaring and singing.
We prove that we can not only make peace, we can bring it with us.
With respect for the world and its people,
We can compete passionately without hatred.
With respect for the world and its people,
We can take pride in the achievement of strangers.
With respect for the world and its people,
We can share openly in the success of friends.
    Here then is the Amazement
Against the odds of impending war
In the mouth of bloody greed
Human grace and human spirit can still conquer.
Ah … We discover, we ourselves
    Are the Amazement which awaits
    We are ourselves Amazement.

Your boy was on Fashion Police earlier with Joan Rivers.
She asked him the weirdest personal questions.
The rest of the hosts couldn't believe what came out of
that woman's mouth. She is too funny!
    He wants to design clothes.

    Band,
He posed for Louis Vuitton (in a bathtub for some of the shots) and the photos leaked early. Olympians cannot sell any products within certain dates and the photos leaked early. So he could be stripped of his medals if they wanted to be jerks. I am sure it won't happen though! It wasn't his fault.

I would be so upset if they did that. It's not his fault that the photos leaked. But I do looooove that photo :)

    OMG...
    Joan Rivers asked him...
-If the size of his penis mattered when he swam?
-If he shaved all the hair off?
She was just blunt as she can be.

That Joan Rivers!! Sometimes I love her!

I hope that they don't strip him of his medals! I'm sure the pictures weren't going to be printed until after the time allowed by the IOC. Too bad they were leaked early....but I sure do like the pic.
