You should be able to semi-follow it. We were off topic much of the night. We seem to get distracted by the swim team, even though they are done

The gymnasts are cute, but give me those male sprinters on the nights when there are no swimmers! ;) Justin Gatlin!

band~I don't know if you saw my post on facebook about wanting a runner's body...but that was my brother who commented asking if my hubs knew I wanted a runner's body and that was the whole reason I was watching Olympics. :)

One more thing- We need to win this!!! I clicked off of Lochte's Twitter feed and found this on his website:

On August 7 we are hosting a very special event that Ryan Lochte will be a part of. He is going to invite 1 lucky fan to attend the event. In order to be considered please send an email to us at info@wrighteas.com with a message consisting of 11 sentences or less stating why you are Lochte Nation’s biggest fan.

All emails must be received by 7 PM GMT on Monday Aug 6, 2012 and the lucky fan will be chosen by 8 PM GMT on Monday, August 6, 2012. The fan must be able to get to London by 5 PM GMT on August 7, 2012 at their own expense.

The fan who is chosen to attend the event must be willing to have their email published on Ryan Lochte’s website and allow their image to be used on ryanlochte.com and social media.

We have to book a trip to London, ladies!!! (And write 11 sentences!)

    I'm with ya giraffe!!!
Dear Ryan: choose me for this event because unlike all the hot lil girls who will write in, I am your biggest fan as evidenced by the many pictures posted on this forum I belong to.

And you must get around!!! First your hand on Phelps and now Lochte on your bed. :)

Well, we need to keep our sentence simple, girls. Remember this is Lochte we're talking about.

    How about this:

    Dear Ryan, pick me.

    Jeah! (LOL)

Of course, his sports management degree from the University of Florida probably was not as academically challenging as Phelps's classes at the University of Michigan.

I'm still sticking with the fact that he needs some PR training and he doesn't always talk that way.

 Yeah, I figured that he would have to have someone translate that letter. And he probably will only read the short and sweet ones.

I'd try every sport.....to get into the village too....

Well, I don't think the University of Florida is that challenging, especially where athletes are concerned.

We're on track and field right now.

I would like to put it on the record that I had a HORRIBLE night. I went to bed, and I couldn't fall asleep. Finally, at 3:00, I got up and went back out to the living room. A bit later, I finally fell asleep. Only to be woken up around 8:00 by a squawking noise. A few months ago, birds got into either my dryer vent or the bathroom fan vent (they are side-by-side outside). I immediately thought they were back. So, I got up and turned the bathroom fan on. It continued. I ran and got the broom and started banging the ceiling. Still squawking. Now it sounded like it was behind the interior wall! I start panicking, thinking about a dead bird in my wall, if an exterminator could get it, how much it would cost, how bad it will smell when it dies, etc... I call my mom and wake her up. I go back in the bathroom (I am more awake by this point), and I listen carefully. It wasn't a bird. My cat's water fountain was running low on water! It was making the noise

My only excuse is that it must be because Ryan is still in London. If he were with me, none of that would have happened ;)

Tonight is some of the individual finals. For women, it is just the uneven bars. Gabby won the all-around, which means she had to compete on all 4 apparatuses.

Love these individual gymnasts competitions. I think my favorite event is the uneven bars. Those girls just FLY!

On a side note: the US basketball team is irritating me. I really wish we would go back to the "dream team" days and the coaches would let the super stars play. I liked it when we DOMINATED!
