    band and STG -

I thought 13 and 14 was about the worst for teena-age daughters, and then it steadily got better! Hang in there!

I haven't decided on resolutions. The ones I really want seem overwhelming in my present fatigued state. I like Ima's ideas of small, manageable resolutions. Need to give this some more thought.

So I only have about 7-8 more years of this...No wonder women grow gray when they have kids!

Last year's main resolutions was to quit biting my nails and start flossing regularly. I achieved both of those so that really inspires me to keep up for this year!

    1) Exercise at least 3 times a week. And drink more water--most days I am taking in maybe 16oz of fluids and 8 of those are coffee! I don't care about losing weight (though I have probably gained 10 lbs in about 5 years) but I don't feel healthy or energized. And my skin shows it.

    2) Finally finish knitting a dishcloth. I don't really know how to knit--I can do the knit stitch and purl. I have started a million dishclothes in the past year but I want it to be a perfect finished product and I keep ripping it up. I have to accept that my first few projects are going to be a mess and just finish something so I can move on to different patterns.

    3) Start keeping a journal again.

I know. I just do better with a deadline, and that seemed like a good one.

I cut back on coffee last year to try and start drinking more water.....I got used to less coffee but never added in the water! I do prefer coffee to anything else though! :woot:

    My New Year resolutions are:

Face my cooking issues and try to cook more.

Set realistic goals for myself and do things in small steps.

    Find a church.

Find time to release my creative side and not be afraid of experimenting.

Relax more and have more fun.

    Exercise more.
