For anyone who is wondering... Last year on 8/17/09, we had 107 jobs. We ended the thread with 123 jobs on 9/23/09. We are on a roll this year!

I am finally on this list! Yay!!!! For now, I am a toddler teacher, with a very high possibility of being a k or prek teacher as soon as one opens up!!!! I am sorry Leigh- I am not 120! I have decided to turn down the offer. I am highly qualified, but not as a toddler teacher and I feel it would be a disservice to the kids. It was nice finally being up there though! I suppose I will go happily into subbing in the fall for now! Thanks!

I'm next!! lol. So I went on an interview Wednesday for a agency type setting for kids with behavioral disorders. Got the call today while waiting for another interview that I didn't get it so I was really bummed. The interview I was waiting for is with the same place but a different part of it so they do seperate interviews and stuff. I ended up waiting almost 30 minutes for them to call me in. The interview went great! It was like I was having a conversation with girls from college or something. They offered me day to day subbing or a full time aide position. Then she mentioned that she was planning on opening another classroom and as soon as my ECE certification went through she would do her best to give me my own class!! So as of right now I am a pre-school (3 and 4 year olds) special education aide soon to be pre-school special education teacher!!
