How long have you been trying? I was laid off from the same district 2 years in a row, but I'd been waiting for a position to open up in this particular district (a different one) since my student teaching there 3 and a half years ago...The same district I grew up in (preschool through high school). How many resumes did you send out? To this particular district, I must have submitted 3 each year, which makes that at least 9. How many interviews or job fairs? I'd been to 4 interviews (4 different districts) What general geographic area? I now have my coveted position in Southern California And of course what grade and/or subject? 7th grade World History
