Will any one be attending the annual conference in March in New Orleans? This will be my first time and I am very excited. I signed up to volunteer for two of the sessions, which saved me a lot of money!

ASCD is Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. I am going--I have heard it is a great conference. My school pays for registration and hotel for pretty much any conference that we want to attend so I did not volunteer to work any sessions.

Wow chemteach, you are lucky. Even our Curriculum Coordinator has had to pay her own way.

They are very good at paying for conferences and seminars. This is the 3rd one that I am attending this school year. I am also set to present and attend the LapTop Conference in Tennessee this summer. I guess this is one of the few perks at a private school. Unfortunately most of our teachers do not take advantage of this perk.
