Its been a crazy couple of weeks! I've moved completely 2 weeks ago, set my classroom up last week, and today was the first day. Overall it was a good day. I'm tired, my feet hurt, and my throat hurts, but I had a lot of fun! :)

Now I just have to get through Thursday and Friday!

    Thanks everyone.
The rest of the week and today have been going great. I'm teaching world and US history.

Most of my classes have been great. I haven't had any problems with discipline so far and the kids seem to be excited to like what we have been doing.

I just hope it stays this easy, if it does than my first year should be pretty smooth! I'm having to adjust to some inclusion classes and that has been the most challenging part. I've never worked with students quite this low before. However I have a great inclusion teacher working with me so it should become easier for me relatively soon.(I hope!)

Keep a growth mindset for these students. They will learn, they will show growth. Working with an inclusion teacher can be a dynamic, collaborative experience. You'll learn some new strategies from this experience and the other teacher will learn from you as well. Embrace it!

Glad you're off to a great start!:)
