    Hello everyone!

I would love some ideas on a demo lesson I could use. I had a phone interview today and passed. Now they want me to come in and do a 15 minute demo lesson with 5 second graders and 5 third graders. They said it could be anything I feel comfortable teaching. I would love to do something with language arts or teach a writing strategy.

I've been online searching for about 3 hours and still am lost as to what I should do. Please any ideas? I work a full day tomorrow and then have a 3 hour drive. My interview is at 9am Wednesday so I am getting pretty stressed. :help:

If I had to choose one, I would choose math. Kids love math.

It's late so this might not help, but if you have a globe and flashlight to bring in, a lesson on the day/night cycle or year cycle might be very enjoyable for the kids. It's not language arts, but it would be high interest and interactive.
