OK, every year our local paper runs team photos of all the local school's football teams. The biggest district - which is NOT inner city - has THIRTEEN COACHES! I'm not making that up. Not counting waterboys, not student trainers, but paid coaches. I did some numbers a few years back and found that even Ohio State doesn't have that many coaches and, if I recall, the pros don't have that many. Now I personally went to that same school, played football, and we had 5 coaches with a HIGHER student enrollment back then. And this is not a wealthy district - they're hurting and cutting and begging for money through levys like anyone else. Doesn't that seem odd?
