Math: Kids will collect 100 items and place it in a bag. On 100th day, for math they will put their 100 items in a line. I will ask questions such as, which is longer, which is shorter, are you taller or shorter than your 100 items?

Centers:
1) I plan to have my kids make a 100th day crown
2) Kids will write a story on how they would spend \$100
3) color a 100th day coloring page
4) make 100 day snack bag with me

Fun activity when they are done with their center work:
1) write 1-100 on a number chart
3) ??? can't remember what else

I just ordered something from Scholastic and I honestly can't recall exactly what it is, but I think it's 100 red and pink hearts that can be used for counting, sorting and patterning.

We have a teacher that takes kids to a local nursing home. In our class, we make 100 valentine's for the other class to deliver. I have them work on them when they finish other assignments.

I am having centers as well:

1) each person draws a card and moves that number of spaces on a 100 chart that I laminated. Keep pulling cards and moving. The first person to make it to 100 wins.
2) each child will be given a large strip of paper to make into a crown. They pick 10 stamps and stamp each one 10 times.
3) string 100 fruit loops on a string
4) Put 100 paper clips together and then find things that are longer and shorter than it.

As a class, we will make a class book about If I Had \$100.

They bring in 100 collections, they share them and I will create a BB with the collections.

We are only 1/2 day, so that is about all.

My PreKinder students have a fun child/parent project for the 100th day of school:

1. Using a poster board, glue/tape 100 objects (non-food items) onto their poster board. The center of the board should have the number 100. They will parade their posters throughout the classrooms.
2. Each student will bring 100 food items in their gallon-size bag - examples: 100 skittles, 100 raisins, 100 cheerios, 100 miniature marshmallows, etc...We will add their items to a large bowl and mix. Snack will be our TRAIL MIX.
3. And of course, we will count aloud to 100.

I already have the 100th day marked on our calendar. And I have one parent who will bring party hats for everyone in the classroom.
I also have a couple of 100 day books somewhere? gotta look for them!

100 day snack

Use one club cracker and two ritz crackers to make a 100. Let the kids write 100 on the crackers with squirt cheese then enjoy! They love to do this and its simple!
