Oh boy! I teach kinder so we: Pop 100 balloons Wear shirts to school with 100 things glues or drawn on (family project) Shake 100 Pom Pom balls on a PE parachute Make a book with 100 stamps Make a 100 solo cup pyramid See where 100 steps take us Write about what we will do when we are 100 Make a necklace with 100 fruit loops Make a 100 hat with 100 stickers Talk about what we wish we had 100 of and what we NEVER want 100 of... As you can tell, kinders love the 100th day!
And I teach HS SPED, where all it means is that we are half way through the year. Matters more to the teachers than the students, depending on the day!
Today marks our 100th day of school! Most staff and students are dressed up as what we think we'll look like when we're 100 years old. I styled my hair with grey hair wax and also wore suspenders with a bow tie and have a walking cane. The kids are cracking up about the cane. I'm walking suuuuuper slowly, too. I don't look half bad with grey hair! ;-)
I teach K too and we do similar things to what was listed above. We also eat a snack with 100 pieces (ten goldfish, ten cheerios, ten pretzels, etc.)
We also did snacks with 100 pieces as well as bringing in 100 things. We also learned about pennies (100 makes a dollar)
I have some 100 activies of the math and writing persuasions. Kids can bring in 100 things. We try to figure out why 100 is such an interesting day.
