Our lesson plan books have 6 "subject" areas for each day.
I know that science/social studies (we rotate these), math, spelling...
I am just going to deal with the situation I get and try to make the best of it.
Thanks for the advice. I agree that if I plan parent activities, it is encouraging them to stay, so I will go as if they aren't even there.
