I also volunteered as a mentor for 4 different elementary kids and became involved in an organization that works with adopted Chinese kids.

STG, I got the position through my university which offers this program. I haven't found any outside of the program though :(
Although I haven't snagged any teaching jobs, I have had my teaching cover letter reviewed by the lovely A to Z people as well as career advisors....

But it's still in the education field. I just got a call not too long ago with an offer to become a college adviser to high school students....
How have your experiences with being substitutes been?
As of right now, I've been selected in the substitute pool for two different districts! I really hope that the jobs flow in consistently :D
