Need help with Easter Egg hunt clues

Anyone do an East Egg hunt using clues? I need help with writing clues for my students. I haven't done this before and have no idea what to write! I have twenty three students so I need at least 23 clues. Pleas help me!

2nd Grade Teacher
We wrote seven clues for our 44 grade level students and put them in groups of five. We changed the order of the clues around so the kids weren't at the same spots at the same time, but made the last clue the same so they would find their prizes.

Where are you hiding the eggs?

hiding eggs

I thought about our playground or classroom. I can hide them anywhere though at our school (cafeteria, another classroom etc...) Will you tell me your clues?

Where is the place you type and stare at a screen? (Computer Lab)
Where is a place you get the liquid that comes from cows?
I am black and white and read all over. I live in your room. (Class Library)
I am in a private place made for a student who starts with the letter "J" (Cubbie)
Squirrels live here. I am next to the swings. (Tree)
I am brown, tall, and I open and close (door)
I am brown, tall and I open and I close. On it is "Ms. Neighbor's Name." (neighbor's door)

If I were a monkey, I would climb these. P.S. I'm not a tree. (Monkey Bars)

I am missing something. What room am I in?
Kindergarden, First, Third, Fourth, Fifth (answer: second...have it on the table in the open)
The first room your mom and dad must visit if they come to school. (office...give it to the secretary to give).
If I were a bookworm, I would want to live here. (Library)
In the library, I am between scarlet and scott. (between 2 books with those last names).
If a teacher needs many copies, she makes this machine go. (copier).
I love to draw. Where am I? (Art room)
I love to run and jump but here I am not out in the sun. (Gym)
I dribble and dribble and yet I must be put back in my place. (wherever you store the basketballs).

I just wrote them. But I didn't write them with my kids in mind. I figured you would change the language according to whatever your kids can read. I'm a 1st grade Aide.

thank you

Thank you for helping me. I used everyone of these. I only had to think of a few more. You are a really quick thinker. I teach second grade. In fact I am printing these off to keep for next year also.

Thanks for the compliment. That made my day.

I'm the go to person in my floor for games, crafts, holidays and word study. My word egg hunt yesterday was copied by other grades who came up to me to borrow plastic eggs when we were done. The truth is I suck at crafts and holidays but use the forums for inspiration. They have to give me a little notice with that. I'm pretty quick though for word games though. It's because last year's teacher needed space with me throwing out ideas all the time. Giving me a center (word study) of my own gave me a place to mesh my creativity and shut up at the same time. Hehe. This year I've developed a clear plan of how I approach games and when. I made a three mo. lesson plan book. Some ideas came from here and some from modifying existing games. Several teachers have requested copies of this lesson binder I made. The Principal asked if I was interested in developing those plans/games for the entire Elementary! Wow! That was huge compliment. I told her at the time though that teachers usually want to develop their own plans, but I would share it upon request.

For the students it is simple. We play "Sparkle" all the time. Yesterday instead of saying "sparkle" I added a twist. I thought of "hot potato." A plastic egg was passed down with each person holding it as they said the next letter. When the word was finished, the next person had to say, "Ooops, I'm a bad egg...splat." They dramatized it themselves and were opening the egg, making faces, pretending to be stinky eggs, etc. I'm not sure why people in the school go gaga over a game when it is just a blend of two common games. But they do and I love having a niche.

I'm working on developing teacher files of my own this year. I just started my MA program so I'm ahead of the curve on collecting plans. In deaf ed, you have to have a MA to teach.

Interestingly I got in a tiff with another teacher who assumed I would WANT to take over a party just because I tend to enjoy doing that and did it in a way where I felt I was ordered to. NOPE! Then crazily enough (without mentioning it to her), I came up with 6 pages of plans from looking at the forums. I just didn't like being ordered. We talked it out though. She didn't mean to and I told her normally I don't mind, just remember that I'm feircely independent and sometimes I go overboard with that too.

Now I'm officially hijacking your thread. Haha. I'm on spring break. I have too much time on my hands. Good luck.
