I am wanting to make 3d geometric shapes but I cannot remember the term for what I want to do and I don't know where to find a template to use....... You cut the sides out of cardboard or cardstock and fold the edges, you then hole punch each corner and conect the edges of all cut outs together with a rubber band.
Does anyone know the name or have a template I can have????
Thanks
To wrap up my unit on geometry, I had my students use toothpicks and gumdrops to construct different 3D shapes. The students had a blast, but they weren't allowed to eat them until they showed their parents how to build each shape!
My students created their own nets of 3-D solids. They trace each side carefully, "rolling" the solid along the edges to position the next face. They add "flaps" before cutting.
