Listing Certification on Resume

I want to list my certification on the top of my resume. Can someone tell me what they wrote on theirs? Should I just put something like State of Georgia Certified Early Childhood K-5.
Thanks.

I have it at the top of my resume. I put the state, certification level, and endorsements, and then expiration dates.

This is how I have it:

Certification:
*Meets Highly Qualified status according to TX Education Agency/NCLB requirements
Then list my certifications including the year I received it.

On my resume, at the top...

Certification
Generalist
May 2008 to February 2014
Grades (EC-4)

English as a Second Language Supplemental
January 2009 to February 2014
Grades (EC-4)

The dates appear on the same line as the title of the certification, which isn't shown correctly here.

The way I've listed my certifications is exactly as it appears on my certificate. I figured it would be easy for admin. to read.

Thanks for all of the great suggestions. I didn't even think about putting that it was initial certification on it. I ended up doing it like this:

Georgia T4 Early Childhood Education K-5

I am sure that I will change it but my resume had to be submitted for a job that was posted.
