End of Year Testing Encouragement

Our lower grade students have been asked to prepare cards, posters, and goody bags to cheer on a third grade class as they take the end-of-grade tests. Does anyone know of a chant or cheer that would work, even if it needs to be "tweaked"? Like, "2-4-6-8, we know your tests will be just great!" Yeah, corny, but anything along those lines will be appreciated!

Positive Thinking songs:

Time For Tests
(Tune: Twinkle, Twinkle)

Time for tests where I will show
Things I’ve learned and things I know.
I am ready! I feel strong!
When I’m careful, can’t go wrong.
I worked hard the whole year through.
I will show what I can do!

Do My Best
(Tune: This Old Man)

Do my best on this test!
I know how. I am not stressed
‘Cause I worked, I learned
and studied through the year.
I’ll do well. I have no fear!
* * * * * * * * * * * * * *

All Those Nights Of Homework
(Tune: Itsy Bitsy Spider)

All those nights of homework and all those days in school!
Lots of information, lots of learning tools!
I know I’m ready! I’ll do the best I can
On the tests that I am taking. Oh yes, this is my plan!

Ready For the State Test
(Tune: I’ve Been Working On The Railroad)

I am ready for my state test!
Learned the whole year through.
I know what I need to do now.
I’m sure you know it, too!

Carefully read all the directions.
Read the questions, too.
Then I look for the best answer,
Make sure it will do!

Ready for the test!
There’s no need to guess!
We will raise our scores!

Here’s what I will do.
You can join me, too!
I know we will soar!

To-do before a test:

Pass out a newly sharpened pencil-will make each student feel special.
Spray cinnamon air freshener above each desk-stimulates the brain.
Pass out mints for students to suck on-again, stimulates the brain.
Turn off half your fluorescent lights-calms students down.
Lead the class in breathing exercises-relaxes the entire body. (See Relaxation Scripts)

Cheer Candy
Use these notes to encourage your students on daily tests, or the longer standardize test of your state's choice. Attach the appropriate piece of candy and watch your students smile on test day!
Dum Dums- You're no Dum Dum! Take your time and do your best.
Crunch Bar- Crunch the test.
Extra Gum- Work Extra hard to make the best choice on your test!
Tootsie Roll- You're on a Roll, You're doing great on the _______.
Airheads- I know you'll rock the test today because none of you are Airheads.
Blow Pops- Try your best and you'll Blow the test away.
Mounds- It's time to show off the Mounds of learning in your head.
Now and Laters- Do your best work Now.. and Later you'll be proud of your work.
Smarties- Have some Smarties to energize your brain & help you do your best!
Snickers- No time for Snickers yet! You're almost finished with the test.
Sprees- With the learning Spree we've been on this year, I'm sure you'll do fine on the test.

I have little tags for all of these candies-PM me if you want specific ones.

I also have the relaxation scripts. PM me if you want those as well.

This is why I like high school....

Pass the Gateway or you'll be taking Algebra I again next year instead of those electives you wanted to take.

Another favorite of mine...

Ms. _____ (insert name of most hated teacher in the school) is the only one teaching Algebra II next year. I spoke with her and she's really likes you, she can't wait to have you in her class next year.
