Application Question: Important Issues

I'm not sure how to answer this one in the "concise" manner that they recommend:

In your opinion, what are the important issues facing our profession?

Should I answer this as it applies to my specialization (social work), or more generally as it applies to teachers (which sort of includes me)? Any ideas?

Thanks for your help!

I would emphasize the social issues facing education... the breakdown of the family, lack of funding effecting programs, ... things of that nature.
