5 minute lesson plan
Hello ,
I was wondering if someone could help me. I am in the process of interviewing for a teaching position through the NYCTF program. Part of the interview process is to create a 5 minute lesson plan for 3rd grade children. But at this moment I am completely lost.
My primary area of interest is bilingual teaching. At first I was thinking of creating a word wall using pictures and colors so that it will be appealing to children. After going through the pronunciation and meaning of the words I wanted to ask the children to come up with sentences using those words and the homework would be writing a story in their journal using some of the words that we learned. I don’t know if this idea is appropriate for this age group or if it is doable in five minutes.
I would greatly appreciate any comments or other suggestions.
