30 seconds waiting period is KILLING ME
5-Jules the Mule.
It is June.
The huge sun shines.
Jules, the mule, nods at the sun.
Jules runs to Mom.
“Can I play in the sun?”
Jules rides his bike in the sun.
The cute mule hits the line.
But Jules rides on!
Jules rides his bike in the sun.
The cute mule hits the vines.
Grapes pile on Jules.
Mom is mad.
Mom is not sure Jules is so cute.
Jules is sad.
But Jules has a cure.
The mule will fix the line and rake the grapes.
No mess!
Jules hums a tune in the fine June sun.

8-Joan’s Cone
Joan packs a tote.
The cute goat takes the red coat and the tote.
Mom gets a kiss. Joan goes.
Mom calls, “If you sit up and take notes, you can get a cone.”
The goat pokes and pokes.
Joan is not sure goats can sit up and take notes.
“Time to sit up,” says Miss Cole.
The goat will not sit up. Joan mopes.
“Time to take notes,” says Miss Cole.
The goat will not take notes.
Joan mopes and moans.
“A cute goat who mopes and moans will not get a cone,” says Miss Cole.
The cute goat sits up and takes notes.
It is no time to mope and moan.
Joan will get a cone.

James gets set.
James can race.
Jake is lame.
Jake can pace with a cane.
Jake can pace but he can not race.
James will not play with Jake.
James can race to the lake.
But the lake is not safe.
A snake waits in the lake!
Jake’s cane taps at the snake.
Tap! Tap! Tap!
The snake takes off.
James is safe.
“I am glad you are a pal,” says James.
James and Jake play a game.

6-Hugo’s Dune
Hugo stays in a sand dune.
The dune is pure sand.
Five cute mice use Hugo’s sand dune to play on.
The mice use a huge kite.
Five mice use the sand dune to dine on.
Ice cubes fill the cups.
Five mice make hot dogs.
The mice like hot dogs.
What a mess!
Five cute mice use Hugo’s dune to nap on.
Hugo smells fumes.
Hugo can bite.
Hugo uses five bites to wake up five cute mice.
The mice use sand to stop the fumes.
Hugo and the mice save the pure dune.

Tom fills him to the top with gas.
Tin Fox is a hot rod.
Bob is his boss.
Bob rubs him with wax.
Bob is in Tin Fox.
Tom is in Gas Hog.
Bob and Tin Fox are off.
Tom and Gas Hog are off.
The hot rods are off.
Will Bob and Tin Fox win?
Can Tom and Gas Hog win?
Tin Fox runs hot.
Tin Fox cannot run.
Tin Fox has to quit.
Gas Hog hits a rut.
The hot rod tips.
But Tom is his boss.
Tom zips in with Gas Hog.
Tom and Gas Hog win.
