Preschool Teacher
Preschool assessment - HELP!

Can anyone help me with a preschool assessment for 4 year olds? I am needing on to do for parent teacher conferences, which is in two weeks.

preschool assessment

This is the one we use. A bit complex, but very thorough. We send them each 9 weeks. The numbers are the scale. 1-shows mastery 2-Shows progress 3-Needs Growth 4-Concept not taught yet.

I tried to send it as it looks, but the grid did not come out. Send your email and I will send the actual report

I can email you my evaluation form if you'd like-- I have the blank saved on my computer becasue I made the form myself witht he criteria I had to follow--- I have 3 year olds that are turning four but I think the form will work for you-- It's ina reprot card type format-- it doesn't look like it's in the right order when you look at it on the computer but when you print it out and put it together in booklet form it comes out right-- jsut send me a private message with yoru email if youw nat me to send it to you

For our assessment we use the desired results developmental profile. It is very thorough and covers 3 to 5 years. We usally do not go over all of that information with the parents because they would rather have more of the school readiness skills. We also use some other forms and check list that we as a group have come up with that seem to be important for the parents. KarenEC, that is one great website. THANK YOU for giving me so many ideas. Some of them are so clever. Mystery Socks....I can't wait to do that one. Simple idea, but I never would have thought of it!
