Centers that stay the same/easy prep?

Hi,

I need to work on my centers, and have more choices available that are easy, or little prep. So far I have...

top 10
what if
writing to pictures
self-selected reading

I am hoping to set up something with the newspaper (like clipping articles) where the students have to respond to them.

Anyone have any other ideas as far as things I can put in a notebook, where parts just have to be changed out? Thanks!

Have you considered the Daily Five? I use it and love it, and only have to change center activities monthly (new listening centers).
