All About Me book/Upper grade

I was wondering if anyone knew of a site or had a resource that would have an All About Me or Spotlight on Me book for the beginning of the year that would be appropriate for 4th grade. Most of the ones I've seen are just too primary. I've ordered some from Really Good Stuff before, but was hoping to find one I could just create or print out. Any ideas? Thanks

I have bought a pack of posters for my kids to fill in and decorate the past couple of years and they like doing that. I hang the posters in the hall for Open House. I look and see if I can find the name of the people that make them.

Good idea. Do you have a certain format you'll have them use, or are you just going to let them freestyle?

Glyphs are always great for things like this and the older kids love them!

Last year I made my own Backpack Glyph because all the ones I was finding were very primary. Did you find a resource with upper level glyphs?

I'm going to pre-fold a tri-fold type of brochure from cardstock.

I believe there's a brochure template on Microsoft Word for brochure styles. I know that's what I use for a "Parent Brochure".

I ordered the posters for each child to fill out from Scholastic. I am excited about having my kids do these this year. It's my first year to have my students do these.

I have kind of what you are seeking, but I also have a survey lurking around somewhere in my files as well that I hand out the first day of school. Here's one thing...

Upsadaisy, tell us more about the brochures...
