Red Ribbon week activities

I'm in need of printables that tie in with Red Ribbon Week: wordfinds, mazes, coloring sheets, stuff first graders could handle. My 5th graders are to team up with the first grade class for a half-hour and do a simple activity together, but us teachers are stumped! Any ideas or links anyone would be able to share would be greatfully accepted.

Your title is ironic.

So, I'm assuming by Red Ribbon week, you mean Anti-Drug week and not AIDS prevention. Here's some things I've found

^Even though that one says Region 14 on the top, you could just tape a piece of white paper over it when you copy it.

Also, you could do an art project where they make red ribbon "stained glass" by putting ripped up pieces of red tissue paper on wax paper and brushing white glue over them. WHen they are dry, you peel them off the paper and hang them in teh window. It looks just like stained glass.

Good luck!

I really like the Humpty Dumpty activity about feelings. I think my 5th graders could handle leading this activity.

The first day we have to make mobiles, not a whole lot of direction given on that one. I may just hit up the local dry cleaner for some wire hangers and buy a bunch of yarn. They won't be classy, but they'll be done.
