Most Common Names

So, what have been the most common names in your classroom over the years? I have had the names Tyler, Jonathan, Samantha, and Brittany the most... Tyler 4x and the other names 3x.

Alex was a big one last year - boys and girls. I think I had 8 of them among my 3 classes.

Always have a few Matt's and David's.

Brittany and Ciara for girls are most popular now.

I always think this is an interesting question because there are really regional differences. I have always had at least one Daniel, Jasmine, and Gabriella. This year I have 2 Arianna's and 2 Angely's, spelled differently. We have a high Hispanic population - believe it or not I've never had a Tyler.

Katelyn and Joshua are common where I teach. I also had Tyler. Last year there was a Jasmine in every single upper grade classroom!
