Fingerplays & Songs

I am currently putting together my portfolio for my CDA. One of the resource collection items is collecting four songs, fingerplays, word games, or poems that I can use to promote phonological awareness. I have searched several search engines. Unfortunately I have came up with nothing. Now, I am turning to you ladies for help!!

Write the words to the fingerplay and point to the words as you do the fingerplay. Also, we sing a song in the morning to the tune of bingo in which a child points to the letters as we sing the song

October is the name of the month and I know how to spell it
O-C-T-O-B-E-R (repeat 3 times)
and October is the name of the month

I know that there is a song used in many kindergartens about A is for apple-a, a, a. Maybe someone in the kindergarten area can help you.

I use Sing Spell Read & Write Songs. You can also find lots of songs and fingerplays at drjean.org Hope this helps a little.
