Picture Book to look for Adjectives

I have a 2nd grade class and I'm planning on talking about adjectives tomorrow. I want to read them a picture book and then look through it together to find adjectives.

Does anyone know of an interesting picture book that uses a lot of descriptive words that would be good for a lesson like this?

Hairy, Scary, Ordinary! A Book About Adjectives

I believe it is called. Totally awesome book. There is a whole series.

My kids (2nd grade) enjoy the Brian Cleary series on the parts of speech. For adjectives, the book is "Hairy, scary, ordinary". They love the pictures and the books are poetic, and easy to remember. I know it sounds like you're looking for something else (a picture book where the kids look for adjectives), but this book is also very good to help you teach adjectives. Now, whenever my kids have trouble remembering what an adjective is, I prompt them with the title of the book ("think, hairy, scary, ordinary") and it usually proves beneficial to them.
