Silly question....

I am in the process of making a laminated story map chart for this year to use with my read-alouds.

Then I thought I might need to make another chart of SWBST (Somebody, Wanted, But, So, Then), but do I really need to? Couldn't I use the Story Map, which includes Characters, Important Events, Setting, Conflict, Resolution, and Theme to do SWBST? Or should I make a separate chart?

Oy! I'm tired...

I've always used SWBS as more of a guideline to finding the main idea of a story, whereas a plot graph/story map is used for... well, plotting the plot. I would use two different charts.
