Using Acronyms in the Classroom

I think I'm starting to go a bit acronym crazy, ha ha.

What do you think of this purposely wordy acronym for "wordiness" for my high school classroom?

W hen
O stentatious,
R edundant
D iscourse
I nvariably
N egates
E fficacious,
S agacious
S entiments

I'm hoping students will get the point--they'll have to look up most of the words in order to understand it, ha ha.

What acronyms have you come up with?

Wow! That is awesome! You have a talent.

I love using acronyms when I can figure out good words to make them work. If I have to "force" them, then I sort of resent using acronyms! Ha!

Thanks, Ted. I agree about disliking the forced, ha ha. Ugh.

Great acronym, czacza, and easy for students to remember.

Czacza,

Since you're having this connect to "REACT", maybe a suggestion.

(R)estate
(E)xpress clearly your
(A)nswer and
(C)ite examples from
(T)ext
(E)xtend your answers
(D)irectly.

As I said...just a suggestion.
